We want to link to practical information we can spread about how to deal with pandemic flu. We can also create our own leaflets, simplifying the information we think our neighbors might need. Several have already been done and can be found on the Pandemic Preparedness Guides page.
We can link to Dr. Grattan Woodson’s guide and the NDU posters, and also add our own.
Perhaps something along the lines of “In the event that your household becomes affected by the flu pandemic, the following are suggestions for dealing with some of the symptoms associated with influenza.” Give very practical and concrete suggestions on dealing with symptoms.
Also, the flyer, leaflet, or whathaveyou needs to be short enough so that the font size used will survive and copy effect. You know how blurry things can get when you are reading a copy of a copy of a copy. The font would also need to be able to stand out on a strongly colored paper which will receive more notice than a white sheet of paper and also be easier for them to notice/locate in the home setting if they are looking for it.
