Forum and links

There are several forum conversations where there’s talk about this wikipage. Specifically about CAP is this one, based on the CAP concept by ReadyMom and Birdie Kate (who crafted the concept and made the initial files), with help from DemFromCT and lugon (for wikification jobs).

What we’d like to do

First, you can just use it!

Starting with the 14 initial files we’re working on a number of wikipages, and also trying to put everything in one not-so-big PDF file (less than 50 pages). PDF files can’t be edited (changed or added to) so there should be fill-in-the-blank room for local data (email addresses, phone numbers, local providers etc). And, of course, the DOC file(s) would still be available for those who want/need them.

A more mature version of these writings can be translated into other languages using http://www.traduwiki.org with it’s 2-sentences at a time cooperative translation capabilities.

We could also provide some guidance for folks who want to set up local email groups (or chats or whatever works for them), both for organising preparedness and also for pandemic mutual help if the grid stays up, and both for hard-core organisers and for a wider public. A kind of local flu-activist how-to guide of sorts. This kind of activity can be outsourced from overworked moms to nerdy nephews. ;-)
